Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is one of the biggest titles I have covered in gaming and makes me feel like a big shot being on the PR lists.
My article covers the basis of what I think of the game, mainly that it is superbly fun. What I didn’t say in the review is that you should go straight to Act II in the storyline as trying to complete an area (searching for all the collectables and dominating all the orcs) is not fully possible until you have all skills available. Act II is where dominating orc captains becomes possible. I nearly got bored of the game as I didn’t realise that there was mechanics to be discovered as I tried to 100% each area.
Trying to play a game as a reviewer should have forced me out of my completionism habits and sent me down the storyline route. Instead I kept to my perfect gameplay style that is sure to ruin the fun in most games. That is the “try to do everything before playing a story mission” gameplay style. Not recommended to get a feel of the game.
Anyway, I hope you like my review of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War!
